Baby Laundry. Lesson Learned :( Part 2

Well, I took the clothes that molded out of the oxy clean water and looked at them. I was able to save 2 of the dresses I ruined and the tights! Thank the Lord! I was so thankful that I didn't have to throw them away. I did have to throw away 1 dress and a shirt but that's a lot better than 3 dresses! Maybe I'll learn from my mistakes and it won't happen again!

Baby Laundry. Lesson Learned :(

Sometimes I can get stains out but most of the time I can't. I have recently discovered Oxy Clean. It works great to get out stains from baby clothes. Well, I thought I would be smart a couple of days ago. Trinity ate some baby food and it was all over her clothes so I took her shirt off and ran water over it as soon as I got it off her so that the stains wouldn't set. I just threw the shirt in her dirty clothes basket and didn't think another thing about it. I guess I was too lazy to make Oxy Clean water to soak it in. I don't know. Well, last night I was doing her laundry and guess what! Her clothes were MOLDY!!!! I never thought of this happening!!!!Lesson learned. In trying to save one shirt, I ruined that shirt, a pair of tights, and 3 of her dresses!! I have them soaking in Oxy clean water but I'd say they are ruined :( Anyone know how to get mildew out of clothes?

A New Picture For My Piano

I had Trinity's 6 month picture's done at Sear's Portrait Studio on April 12th. They came in on April 22nd but I just got a frame for one of her pictures yesterday. I love having pictures on top of my piano. Especially pictures of my precious little girl.

Happy 2nd Birthday Dottie!!!

Yesterday was Dottie's second birthday. I don't know if that is her real birthday or not but April the 26th 2008 was when we got her! I don't know for sure how old she is but when I got her fixed back in January, they said that she looked like she was about 4 years old. Anyways, she is a good dog and we love her! Especially Steven. She is definitely Steven's dog. So Dottie, if you read this blog, happy birthday!!!!

This is Dottie before she got her birthday bone.

This is Dottie with her birthday bone.

Trinity's Turtle Tambuorine

I was at the dollar general store yesterday and found Trinity a turtle tambourine! I was so excited! I've been looking for her one to play at church. I know, I know she is too young to play a tambourine, but she has to learn somehow, right? She absolutely loves her new tambourine! One problem though. The stick on it is a snake, so the people at church might say we're teaching her to handle snakes!! I hope not because that is NOT true!!

Trinity's Big Flower

I LOVE big flowers for Trinity's hair. She wore this one Sunday night to church. Steven says it's too big. What do you think?

It is pretty big ain't it? Oh well. I love it!

My Creeping Baby

Trinity can creep and has been able to for a while. Creeping is when they can lay on their belly and move kind of like crawling but they are pretty much just scooting. I laid Trinity on her belly this morning in our bedroom while I done something, and this is where she ended up. I really don't know how she managed to get in front of this table and then scoot backwards to get under it but she did!

Baby Milestones - Trinity Learns How To Do Raspberries

Yup! Trinity has learned how to do raspberries. You know, the noise you can make when you stick out your tongue, close your mouth and then blow. And yup, she learned how during church last night! She was really rowdy at church and then learning how to do this made her super loud! Good thing we were sitting in the second row from the back!

A Wonderful Service At Bond Holiness Church

Last night we went to Bond Holiness Church. They were having their youth service and Bro. Randy Webb was preaching. We had a wonderful service and Bro. Randy Webb preached awesome! He preached about even though we think we are small, God can use us. It was a very encouraging message to me anyway. I love this way of holiness and I couldn't imagine my life without God. Their were several backsliders in church last night and I really hope they listened to what was preached.

After church, we went to the fellowship hall and had some good food. I ate absolutely too much!!

This is Trinity eating a pickle! She really liked it and didn't even make a face at it! It was too funny!

Pictures Of The Most Beautiful Baby Girl In The World

These are pictures of Trinity Thursday night at church. Ain't she just beeeeutiful?!? I absolutly love, love, love this dress!!!

Okay, so you can tell my this recipe what kind of cook I am. I was listening to the radio this morning and their recipe for the day was Cake In A Mug. You make a cake in a coffee mug in the microwave! I was all for it. I got the recipe and tried it out. It's made with stuff you already have in your house. Unless of course your like me and currently don't have any milk.

It tasted okay. It tasted more like a brownie. Kind of dry.
If your wanting something sweet and you have nothing in your house,
this would be perfect!

A Beautiful Sun Rise

This is a picture that I took of the beautiful sun rise this morning. It was very foggy and the sun was shining bright! Isn't God's creation so amazing?!?

My Sleepy Baby Girl

I was ironing yesterday and I had put Trinity in her walker. She was playing and later I noticed that she was really quite. I looked at her and she had fallen asleep in her walker! It was the cutest thing ever! She must have been really sleepy!

Trinity At 6 Months

Here are some things about Trinity now that she is 6 months old.

She can sit up by herself.
She drinks 6 ozs. of formula every 3 hours
She sleeps all night
She gets around really good in her walker
She eats baby food
She can drink out of a straw
I have started her on a sippy cup
She eats yogurt bites and Cheerio type thingys
She hates fruit baby food, but loves veggie baby food
She is in 6 to 9 month sleepers
Her shoe size is 2
She likes to sleep on her belly
She loves getting a bath
She weighs 15 Lbs and 9 ozs.
She is 26 inches long
She goes to sleep around 8:30
She wakes up at 8:00
She loves to get things she isn't supposed to have
She has one tooth on the bottom right and the bottom left is almost through
She is half way to her 1st birthday :(

Time has went by so fast. Just yesterday I brought her home from the hospital! Well...not really but you know what I mean. I am so thankful for my baby girl and I am so glad that God placed her in our lives!

Could This Mean Future Problems???

Sunday morning when I woke up, I went in to check on Trinity. This is how I found her...

She took a perfectly decent sleeper and made it not so modest!
Is this a sign of future problems? Lol. I pray not.

A Beautiful Sunny Day!

Today was beautiful. I had a wonderful birthday yesterday(other than the fact that my husband was sick). Today, my friend, Beck, came over to have her 16 week pictures taken. I am, by no means, a good photographer but I'm taking her maternity pictures! I am so excited. I done one when she was 12 weeks...

And then today, when she was 16 weeks.

I also asked her if I could take some pictures of her little girl. Here is how they turned out...

I couldn't get her to look at me to save my neck!
I am so thankful for the sunshine today! Praise the Lord!

My Beautiful Baby Girl!

Here are some pictures of my beautiful baby girl!

This is how she feel asleep last night. She slept with her
butt stuck up in the air the whole night!

This is Trinity before church Sunday night! How
cute!

This is Trinity the first time she tried a sippy cup.

Today... I Am 23.

Happy birthday to me! I am 23! Well, I was up all night last night. My husband is really sick. Like the sickest I have EVER seen him. We had a rough night. He called in from work today. That is the first time since he has worked at the bank and only the second time ever. I feel so bad for him. We called our pastor this morning at 4am and he prayed with us. We had a wonderful prayer. I'm so thankful for our pastor!

I have had a great birthday though. I have had a lot of people call or text to tell me happy birthday. I am so blessed! Here is what all I got for my birthday!!

This is what my hubby got me! I have wanted
a fire pit for a while now! Now I gotta have my
friends over for some roasted marshmallows!

Trinity and Andrea got me these trees! They
are so beautiful!!! Can't wait to plant them!

My mother-in-law and father-in-law
got me this wind chime. It sounds so beautiful.
It's called the "Amazing Grace" wind chime
because it plays the first part of Amazing
Grace. So beautiful!

So far, I've had a GREAT birthday! Well, other than the fact that my hubby is sick. Please pray for him. Have a blessed day!

Wednesday, April 14, 2010

I got my flowers planted yesterday! They are so pretty. I had to call my sister up to my house to help me though. I think they look pretty good for my first time! My mother-in-law came to the house last night and gave me some tulips to plant. We'll just see how that goes.

This one is on my table on my front porch.

This one is hanging from my front porch.

And so is this one.

This one is sitting on my table on my back porch.

My Sweet Husband

Yesterday my husband brought me these flowers home! I was so excited! They are lilacs so they make my kitchen smell sooooo good! I love them. I have a really sweet husband!

My Flowers

We bought tables and chairs for our porches and I put them together Saturday. I am so excited to get to use them! They are so pretty. We have one on each porch and if we need to, we can put them together to make a bigger table.

Yesterday I bought some flowers to put in pots to be a center piece for each table. I am NOT good at planting. I do not have a "green thumb". I am going to see how this works out! My big problem is watering them. I always forget or just don't do it. I also bought flowers to put in 2 hanging baskets that I have. I am so excited about planting these flowers. Maybe they will live!

My Birthday Dinner

My birthday is on Thursday. I will be 23 :( Last night Steven, me , and Trinity went for my birthday dinner. We went to my favorite restaurant, Ruby Tuesday! I love, love, love Ruby Tuesday! It was so good! I got steak, sauteed mushrooms, onion straws, and the salad bar. Steven got a quesadilla. Yum yum!
Our good food!
Our Blackberry and Strawberry Lemonades

Kiddy Kats Consignment Event

Last night was the private worker's sale for the Kiddy Kats consignment that is in Somerset twice a year. I am going to be working there this Saturday so I was able to shop last night! Steven went with me. Out of over a hundred people, he was the only guy! He didn't seem to mind. Later on there was probably about 15 guys so I'm sure that made him feel better.

We found some really good deals! I am so excited. We found a Jenny Lind changing table that matched Trinity's Jenny Lind crib! Guess how much?? 10 dollars!!! It was in awesome shape too! We also found Trinity a walker for my mom's house for 5 dollars.

Everyone would have been really, really proud of me. Out of thousands of dresses, I bought Trinity only 3!

Look at all these pretty shoes!!

I have been looking for a "springy" diaper bag! This one was 8 dollars!
