Trinity now has 17 teeth!
Remember in the last post where I said that she had an extra tooth? Well, I took her to the dentist and they said that it was okay, but that it kind of looks like her permanent tooth. Ever heard of that? They said that when she gets a little older, they will have to do x-rays to see what their options are.
Here are some pictures of her at the dentist. She liked the dentist the first time she went, but she sure didn't like it this time.
This is Trinity at 18 months.
This is Trinity at 6 months.
Trinity is so funny these days. She will talk your leg off and you will have no clue what she is saying. It's too funny.
She is also developing a little attitude. This I don't like. She even threw a fit in the store the other day because she didn't want me to hold her hand.
My mom and I had a HUGE scare last week at Hobby Lobby. Trinity was getting fussy in the buggy, so we let her down. I was getting some fabric cut and mom said, "Ivy, I'm going to look over here. Watch Trinity." I said okay. Mom came back over and said, "Ivy, where is Trinity." I said, "She is right here." Mom said, "No she isn't!"
Sheer. Panic!
The workers called a code ADAM for her and we franticly searched for her. I found her about 30 seconds later. I immediately started crying and thanking God that we had found her.
We were at the end of one side of the store and when I found her, she was in the middle of the store. The paranoid mother in me thinks that there is no way she could have gotten there by herself. But I guess she did.
I truly felt like an awful mother. I felt like everyone was looking at me thinking well, can't that woman keep up with her child?
It makes me nervous just thinking about it. I hope it never happens again!
On a different note... Trinity has been saying Mommy some. But not a whole lot.
And on another different note... I turned 24 last week! Ick! I'm getting old!
These are pictures I took at Cracker Barrel on my birthday.
Well, that is the end of this random post until next time!
What a cutey! And I know that "awful Mommy" feeling--but don't be too hard on yourself. It happens to us all and trust me, it won't be the last time. Just think when you have three to keep up with at once! :)
ReplyDeleteOh goodness...my heart just drops thinking about looking down and expecting to see Chase but him not being there! I can only imagine how scary that was for you!! I am so glad that you found her and she was just fine!
ReplyDeleteI laughed when I read that Trinity was saying Mommy now because Chase has totally stopped saying it haha! These kids of ours! Chase has instead made up his own language that only he can understand LOL.
I love her little zebra dress! And she is just too cute for words in her 6 month photo!
God love her heart....she's talking 100 MPH trying to keep up with Kari and Malachi! LOL!! They are quite the threesome now days.
