Say Cheese!!!

Trinity has finally hit a milestone that I have been waiting a long time for. She now says, "Cheese!" and actually smiles for pictures!!! See...

I am so excited! All I have to do now is pull out my camera or phone and say, "Smile!" and she smiles! And she could not have chosen a better time, because we are getting family photos done Monday by this awesome photographer!

After I take her picture, she always wants to see it on the LCD screen, of course!

Also, I wanted to let y'all know that I am changing my blog to private soon. I know I said that a long time ago! So, if you haven't already given me your e-mail address (I will have to have your e-mail address if you want to be able to view my blog) please do it soon! You can either leave me a comment with your e-mail address or e-mail me at ivis_jones@hotmail.com. Y'all have a great day!

12 Weeks

Well, I had completely forgot that I had turned 12 weeks pregnant Saturday. (I remembered Saturday, but forgot to mention it in my previous blog post until Jess said that it was about time for another bump photo!)

Well, I wish I could say that, in this photo, I am actually like 35 weeks, but sadly, I am only 12. I honestly already look like I am ready to pop! I am embarrassed by this, but there is nothing I can do about it now :( Might as well post a picture, right?

Here it is...

I had my 2nd OB appointment last Monday. It went great! I had lost 2 lbs.! (Not good for a normal person, but great for someone that is overweight.)

My doctor said that she wasn't for sure that she would be able to hear the heart beat this early with the doppler, but I wanted her to try anyway. It took her a bit, but she found it! It was awesome! I always love to hear it. I am going to try and record it with my phone one time and post it to my blog.

Trinity was with us so she got to hear it. She didn't pay much attention to it. She has been with us to both appointments and the ultrasound and she done great all 3 times! We plan on taking her with us through the whole pregnancy.

My next appointment is August 8, and then at my appointment after that, I should be able to find out if Baby 2 is a boy or a girl. What do you think? I am going to try and put up some kind of poll on here. I think that will be neat.

Also, we plan on having a gender reveal party! A gender reveal party goes like this. After you find out the baby's gender, you don't tell ANYONE and invite people to the gender reveal party to find out all at the same time. I think we are going to fill cupcakes with either pink or blue icing and let everyone take a bite at the same time. I think I might fill my sister, Marcia's, cupcake with white icing because I know how she is! She hates surprises so she will be trying to peek!

The "proper" way to do a gender reveal party is to have the gender ultrasound and tell the ultrasound tech to not tell you what you are having. Instead, they write it on a piece of paper, you take that paper to a bakery, and they die a cake either pink or blue and cover it with icing. Then at the party, you and your husband slices the cake and then everyone finds out at the same time. We don't want to do it this way because then we couldn't watch the ultrasound. Anyways, it will be fun!

I don't know why, but I am having a hard time remembering that I am pregnant. Maybe it's where I have Trinity and she keeps me busy. Maybe it's where I am having no symptoms at all. I don't know. It just doesn't seem real. I'm sure it will once I start to feel the baby move. I can't wait!

That is all the pregnancy updates I can think of for now! See ya later!

The Most Random Post You'll EVER Read.

So, as y'all already know, I haven't blogged in a LONG time.
Here we go...

I am currently sitting out side watching the family play corn hole. (After an overheating incident yesterday, I will probably not be playing for a while.)

My pregnancy is going great! If you'll remember in my last post, I mentioned morning sickness and that it was really bad. Well, come to find out, it was a stomach virus!!! Praise the Lord! Steven got it and Trinity got it too. I am so glad it was just a stomach virus because I couldn't have taken that for too long. I lost 4 lbs. that day.

Other than that, things have been going great. I go to the doctor next Monday. We should be able to hear the heartbeat on the doppler then. I always love that.

I have been craving chicken noodle soup. Oh wow! I would love to have some right now. Instead in am eating pickles. And drinking root beer. Ha!

I have to eat something small all the time. If not, I get really sick. I had been having bad headaches, but I haven't had one in a while. Praise the Lord!

Now, when I ask Trinity if she wants a bubby or a sissy, she says, "Bubby!" Its too funny!

Trinity and Baby 2 are going to have to share a room. I hate this but that is something that goes along with living in a single wide mobile home. A couple weeks ago, we switched Trinity's room with Steven's study so now Trinity has a bigger room. We found a really nice twin bedroom suit at a yard sale so my mom painted it for me. It looks great!

We have all of Trinity's baby furniture in her room along with the new bedroom suit. It's very crowed in there now, but it looks really good. We have a crib, changing table, 2 dressers, a chest, a twin bed, a rocking chair, and a small chest in there. I am on my phone so I don't have any pictures of the room on here. I plan on posting later with pictures from my actual camera.

Anyways, Trinity now sleeps in a "big girl" bed! We just skipped the toddler bed because I see no sense in buying one. She done great! The first night she slept in her new bed, she acted scared when I put her in it so I laid down with her until she fell asleep. She stayed asleep until 4:00 am. She had woke up and walked into the living room. When she didn't see anyone, she started crying. I just went and put her back in her bed and she went right back to sleep. Other than that, she hasn't got out in the night anymore.

Trinity loves to play in the bath tub in our room! She also like to sleep in it!

This is Trinity at the Brass Band Festival. We went to the parade and she loved it. She was also scared of all the loud noises.

I was in Steven's study doing something a couple of weeks ago and Trinity came in a said, "Look!" and this is what she looked like! She had stickers all over her! Too funny!

This picture is really blurry, but it shows that Trinity loves to wear Steven's mud boots!

I am going to use cloth diapers with the new baby. (I know. I heard everyone's gasps from here!) They really are a lot easier now than they used to be. I bought the all-in-one diapers so you can use the same one from 8-35 lbs. I have been using them with Trinity. It was raining outside so I couldn't hang them out to dry. I made my own clothes line in the house.

When Trinity woke up from her nap, she came into the kitchen and looked at the diapers hanging up and said, "Oh! Pretty!". I about lost it, I laughed so hard!! She has her daddy's decorating sense! Ha! I'm joking.

Trinity has learned that it's fun to play in mud puddles with her cousins!

Last night we watched fireworks and a local park. They were so pretty! Trinity wasn't interested in them at all I was surprised.

Tomorrow we plan on doing something for our anniversary. Hopefully this involves Sonny's BBQ and shopping. Steven said Sonny's BBQ don't sound good at all. I have been craving it so bad! My mouth waters every time I think about it! We will see who wins!

Well that is all for now! Maybe I will post some more later with pictures from my camera. Have a great independence day!
