Still Pregnant...

I'm sure I have people stalking my blog, just waiting for me to announce that our baby boy has been born. Ha! Probably not! But, if there is anyone reading, we are still pregnant!

I went to the doctor yesterday and everything is still the same. Baby is still very high (I had thought for sure that he had dropped) and I'm still only dilated a finger tip.

She doesn't want to induce me just yet, which is fine with me. I'd rather not be induced if I don't have to be. I'm feeling pretty good, just getting impatient! My next appointment is Monday.

I was induced with Trinity 3 days after my due date, but that was because her heart rate kept on going up and down. I am very thankful that there is no problem or reason to be induced right now.

Since I am past my due date, I had to go for a non stress test at the hospital after my appointment yesterday, to make sure that Titus' heart rate was good and stable.

It was so strange walking back to labor and delivery! Steven, Trinity, and I walked back there and Steven said, "The last time I walked back here, I wasn't holding this little girl!"

As soon was we got there, 2 of my nurses from when I had Trinity greeted me. They remembered me! Probably because I was in the hospital for, like, EVER! Ha!

They hooked me up to read Titus' heart beat (it was great) and to see if I was having any contractions. Well, what do ya know, I started having regular contractions while I was there! The nurse walked into the room and said, "Did you know you just had a contraction?" It was funny! Titus likes to play games with me because as soon as we left the hospital, the contractions stopped.

I love the hospital I am going to deliver at. The nurses are so nice! As soon as the nurse got me hooked up, she brought Trinity a coloring book about becoming a sibling and some crayons. Trinity took right up with the nurse and she just sat there and colored the whole time.

As soon as the nurse left the room, Steven hopped into the massage chair! I don't know why he plays with it because he complains the whole time he sits in it that it hurts. Ha! He is to funny. He done the same thing when I was in labor with Trinity. I think at one point, he even tore it up somehow. I guess it gives him something to do.

Anyway, I an trying to keep myself busy, which isn't hard with a 2 year old! I have had an awesome spurt of energy the last couple of weeks, which has really helped me keep my house clean. I don't think it has ever been this clean!

Well, I will quit rambling now! Hoping Titus decides to come soon! Oh! Anyone got any suggestions as to how to get Titus to hurry up???

A Post About Trinity

Before I get started with this post I wanted to do about Trinity, I just wanted to give an update on the pregnancy. Only 5 more days until my due date! However, I went to the doctor yesterday for my weekly checkup and nothing has changed from last week :-( . I am still only dilated a fingertip and the baby is still very high. So it looks like he is going to be fashionably late just like Trinity. Oh well!

Now on to Trinity. I wanted to write a post about her since she is soon (hopefully:-) ) not going to be an only child anymore. I can't think about it because it makes me want to cry. I don't know why. Sometimes I feel like having another baby is going to be bad for her and I feel guilty because she isn't going to be an only child. I know that sounds crazy. She is so excited about becoming a big sister even though she doesn't completely understand what that means.

Every time someone talks about Baby Titus, her eyes light up and she gets so excited. She talks all the time about rocking him to sleep and giving him his pacifier and singing, "Go To Sleep" to him.

I think she is going to be very picky with him. I don't think she is going to want anyone touching him or doing anything for him except her. I know she is going to be very bossy!

She has been to every one of my doctor's appointments with me and she loves hearing his heartbeat. One day I asked her, "Trinity, what does Titus' heartbeat say?" And she said, "Beat, beat, beat." Then I said, "Where is your heart at?" And she pointed to her chest. I was very proud! So at my doctor's appointment that day, I asked her the same questions so my doctor could see how smart Trinity was. She got the beat, beat part correct, but when I asked her about where her heart was, she pointed to her mouth! I thought is was so funny! That's just like a kid!

She loves to act like she is my doctor. She will take her toy stethoscope and put it on my belly and listen. Then she will push and push on my belly and listen some more. Then she will take her play baby powder and baby bottles and "mix" up some kind of concoction and rub it all over my belly and then push on my belly and listen some more. I think its hilarious!

Trinity is getting very good at helping me out around the house. Yesterday she put the clothes from the dryer into the laundry basket and then put the clothes from the washer into the dryer. She also unloaded the whole dishwasher (minus a few pieces)! She loves to do it so I will for sure let her!

We were at my mom's house yesterday and Trinity was sitting in her little rocking chair eating some ice cream. All of a sudden she starts crying. I asked her what was wrong and she said, "A snake! A snake!" I went over there and looked and there was a little earth worm in the floor about an inch long! She thought it was a snake! Too funny!

Well that's all the stories I'm going to write to y'all tonight. I know its probably boring to you guys but its stuff I really don't want to forget! Also, I couldn't do a post without pictures! Hope you like them!

Getting Things Ready!

Only 3 more weeks to go folks! I am so excited! Saturday, we finally got everything in from the building that we will need when Titus decides it's time to come.

This little girl is very excited for her baby brother to come. She talks about baby Titus all day long! (I don't know how excited she will be when he gets old enough to get into her stuff!)

We put Titus' name over his bed.

And I have all of our bags packed and ready to go! This looks like a lot of stuff! The orange bag is Trinity's to take to her Mamaw and Papaw's house when we are in the hospital and the back pack is my good camera and all of my accessories. This has gone by so fast! I really cannot believe that we only have 20 more days left! Wow! I can't wait to see this little guy and hold him for the first time! I really don't think it has registered yet that we are getting ready to have 2 children! I have a Doctor's appointment today. I go once a week now. So exciting!!!

A Snow Day!

It Snowed!!! A few weeks back, I bought Trinity a snow suit and I thought she would never get to use it! But Tuesday, we were able to go outside and play in the snow.

Trinity was so excited! It wasn't very much snow to play in but she loved it anyway!
