Busy, Busy, Busy!

Well guys, I have been busy! With this and that and sewing and throwing a gender reveal party and planning a birthday party, I have not had much time to blog. I could blog while Trinity takes her nap during the day, but I am usually taking a nap too! I have heard that once you have 2 children, it is very rare that they both take a nap at the same time. So I am getting all the sleep I can now!

Even with all this "busyness", there really hasn't been very much going on. So I'll just recap the last few weeks...

I have finally started taking weekly pictures.

Trinity sometimes likes to be in the picture! See her in the bottom right?

I will be 23 weeks Sunday! This pregnancy went by very fast before we found out the gender, now it is dragging by! I just can't wait see this little boy growing inside me! Things have been going great with my pregnancy. I have been having this awful hip pain. It is bad. I don't remember having it with Trinity. Maybe it's a second pregnancy thing. Also, the past 2 days, my belly button and my stomach right above my belly button has been really sore.

This little guy moves CONSTANTLY! It really has me worried about how he is going to be after he is born. Ha! He NEVER sleeps I don't think.

Steven still hasn't felt him move yet. Steven really doesn't have much patience with things like this though.

We have a name picked out, but that will be a whole nother post. But, at the rate I am blogging, it will probably be after he is born!

Trinity's birthday party is tomorrow (today??)! She will be 2 and I cannot believe it! She is the most beautiful little girl ever! She is so smart too! She talks nonstop at home!

Here are some things about Trinity...

She is doing really good with potty training and I am so glad!

She counted to 6 tonight! I didn't even know she could do that.

She loves to talk on her play phones. When I ask her who she is talking to, she always says either Marcia (Aunt Marcia) or Drea (Aunt Andrea).

Tonight, she was looking through the Lifeway Christian Store catalog and she was pointing to things saying, "I want this. I want this. I want this." Then she pointed to my cell phone and said, "Call Marcia!" I think she is beginning to notice who gets things for her. Ha!

She loves baby dolls! She has a ton and plays with them all. day. long! I love it!

She also loves animals.

I have noticed lately that Trinity sings all the time at home. I never can understand what she is singing but it is too cute!

She loves to pray. She now wants to pray over everything she eats. Which is good! She also wants to pray before she takes a nap. We have always prayed before bedtime.

Trinity loves to sleep! When she gets sleepy, usually she will come and grab my hand and say, "Mommy, bed. Mommy, bed." I am not complaining!

Here is a picture I took of her this morning with her blanket that her great aunt Kathi just made for her.
She loves this blanket. She had to take it with her to church last night and she was showing everyone and saying, "Mine!"

This is the last thing I want to mention on this very random blog post. I read this post the other day about blog safety and I think it would be awesome if all you would read it too. I think it would help us all out! Click here to read it. It really opened my eyes about posting pictures online.

Well, I think that is all for now! Thanks for being awesome blog readers!!!

Our Gender Reveal Party!

Friday was our gender reveal party! I was really nervous about it because I didn't want people just sitting around thinking, "Okay... This is silly." But I think everyone had fun! I know I did!
I didn't do a whole lot of decorating. I only decorated the dessert table. And it was nothing fancy either...

But I thought it was cute. I was stressing to make sure that there were blue and pink things and that everything was equal because I knew someone would notice if I had one more pink thing or one more blue thing.
I made chocolate covered Oreos. They were so cute! Everyone thought that the surprise color was in these, but it wasn't!

I also made funfetti cake balls. They were so good!

I had people to write down what they think we should name our baby. This was very fun!

Here is my fabulous Mother and Father-in-law! They were on "Team Blue"!

It was funny because everyone thought we were having a boy because Steven had on blue. But, he also had on pink so we confused everyone! HA!
We put on the invitations for the guests to wear pink or blue to cast their vote on if they think we are having a boy or girl.

This is TEAM BLUE!

This is TEAM PINK!
The final score was 12 to 11. Team blue won by 1 vote!

Here is cute little Trinity with her Oreo sucker. She had been wanting one since she saw me making them. She finally got one and loved it!

(I wore black and white. Very neutral colors!)

Trinity and Malachi wanted Ashlee to take a picture of them just like she was taking a picture of us! Too funny!

Our family of three! (But not for too much longer!)

And now for the BIG REVEAL!!!!
Ready...
Set...
GO!!!!!

BLUE!!!!
There was blue icing in the middle of the cupcakes which means we are having a baby BOY!!!! We are too excited!
It was so hard keeping it a secret after finding out on Thursday. It was only one day but I couldn't imagine trying to keep it a secret any longer!

Tomorrow is the Big Day!!!

I cannot believe that tomorrow is the big day! The day we have our ultrasound! I am beyond excited to see this tiny baby growing inside me! I want you all to pray that everything with be fine and healthy with me and the baby.

I am also excited to (hopefully) find out if we are having a girl or a boy. According to the poll I put on here, you all think I am having a boy. We will see...

I had a dream Monday night that I was in labor and when I had the baby, it was a girl! She was the sweetest little thing with hair about an inch long and it was light brown. So sweet! When I woke up, I was mad because I didn't actually already have my baby here! Ha!

But... Last night, I had a dream that we went to our ultrasound tomorrow and the baby was clearly a BOY! Which was great too! I am seriously hoping that my dreams don't mean that they are going to tell me that I am having a boy, but when I have the baby, it will be a girl. I would love to have another girl, but I would rather not have everything ready for a boy and then, SURPRISE! It's a girl, or the other way around.

This pregnancy has seriously gone by SO fast! I can't believe that Sunday, I will be half way through.

This is me at 19 weeks.

This is me at 18 weeks. (please excuse all the mess!)

This week, I have been busy getting ready for this...

I made these cupcake toppers...

And I colored these Hershey bar wrappers last night...

I think they look too cute! The colors for the party are royal blue and hot pink. I still have a ways to go as far as making the decorations. Tomorrow I plan on making the cake pops and the chocolate covered Oreos before I go to my appointment. It is at 4:00 and I have to keep myself busy or tomorrow is going to drag by!

We are not telling anyone the gender until the party Friday. This has made some people upset. So much so, that I have heard rumors of people breaking into my house while I am making the cupcakes (The cupcakes are going to have either pink or blue icing in the middle with frosting on top and that is how the people at the party are going to find out the gender) to see what color icing I am putting in the middle. I have also heard that people are even going to go through my trash to see if they can find any left over pink or blue icing. I will warn you, Steven is going to be home all day Friday to help me with the party and he will NOT let anyone break in the house or go through my trash! HA!

I really think this party is going to be fun!

In other news...

We are potty training Trinity! She is doing so good! I can honestly say that when I started potty training her 2 weeks ago, I was STRESSED OUT, to say the least! I had to pray and ask God for patience and He answered my prayer! Now that I am not stressed out, Trinity is doing so much better. We just quit diapers cold turkey, so she hasn't had one on in 2 weeks and 1 day! She goes in the potty a lot more than she goes in the floor. She doesn't go at night or during naps and she has had many days now where she hasn't had an accident all day! (But, she has had 3 accidents today :( All of which were my fault because I wasn't watching her close enough)

I wanted to just post some random pictures here, so here you go...

It has been raining a TON here this week. UGH! I know we need the rain but it makes for very gloomy days.

This has been a random post so I'll stop now. Keep a watch on my blog Friday night! I will try and post to let you all know if there will be a son or a daughter joining our family in January!!!
