What Shall I Do With All This Ribbon??

One of my friends used to own a baby boutique and made hair bows and such to sell there. She now has 4 kids and I guess she doesn't have the time anymore to make things. So, she asked me if I wanted a bunch of ribbon she had left over. She said that she would just give it to me if I made her youngest daughter (about the same age as Trinity) a knot dress just like the one I made for our family pictures. I happily said 'Yes!'. I hadn't seen the tote of ribbon yet so I had no idea how much I was getting.

Take a look for yourself...

Brown

Yellow

Green

Multi colored

Red

Purple

Cream

Black

White

Orange

Pink

And blue!

I couldn't believe it! I was so excited! This is a lot of ribbon!

So, what am I going to do with all this ribbon?? Make hair bows of course!

Also in the tote was a bunch of other goodies! Like bibs for me to monogram...

Brand new diaper stackers to monogram...

Baby blankets to monogram...

Trim for socks...

And a bunch of head bands!!!

Can you believe all of this??? Wow! I was thinking about opening an esty.com store before I got all of this. Now I am really going to be looking into it in the near future! The thing that is holding me back (this is crazy) is I can't come up with a good name for my "store". Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I am not creative in this aspect!

Also, if y'all know anyone needing hair bows, headbands, monogramed bibs, or anything else, just let me know! I should be able to hook you up!

  1. Oh my word! That's a lot of stuff!!! You should totally open an etsy store. That bib you made for Chase was so cute!

  3. The whole time I was reading this post, I was thinking, "Start a hairbow business!" :) If the name is all that is holding you back, maybe you could do a "name my business" contest thru your blog. That would be fun!
