Is There A Postpartum Nesting Instinct??

Seriously, is there??? If there is, I'd love to have it! I have been feeling SO exhausted lately. I wake up after a full night's sleep and feel like I haven't even been asleep. I don't know how I would make it if I had to wake up with Titus through the night.

My house is in need of Spring cleaning. I really need to start Spring cleaning but I can't find any motivation. :(

How do you all get motivated to Spring clean??

I miss my energy that I had right before I had Titus. I miss that nesting instinct so very badly! Please come back!

So, anyone with any tips on gettin' my Spring cleaning done?? Maybe I should get on Pinterest.com and look at some really clean and organized houses? Maybe that would probably be just killing time that could be spent cleaning!

I really don't think there is a point to this post. Maybe I'm just whiny today. It's okay to be like that every once in a while. Right??

  1. Well, I never had any energy after having my babies. I too was blessed with great sleepers.
You might want to check your iron though. Low iron causes you to wear down easy and feel exhausted. Titus may be taking his share but you need to refuel! Good luck!!!

  3. I use lists to keep me going, but then I've never had to deal with postpartum anything. Shouldn't it be okay for you to rest up a little after carrying around a 10 pound baby? lol Plus now you are keeping up with two little ones. That takes an adjustment time too.

I'm sorry that I can't recommend eating chocolate for mood enhancement if you are nursing. My mother said that eating chocolate and onions made her babies upset when she was nursing us.

My favorite cleaning trick is to look around and ask, "What don't I need anymore?" Once I get a box of odds and ends that can go to the resale shop (or the garbage), the house already looks cleaner.
