Titus Isaiah is 1 Month Old!

My baby boy is already 1 month old!

A few things about Titus...

*He weighs 10.2 lbs.
*He wears size Newborn and some size 0-3 months clothes.
*He wears size 1 shoes.
*He has very dry skin right now.
*He already has "cradle cap". (Anyone know any thing to help this??)
*He has very oily hair. It ALWAYS looks dirty!
*He has baby acne but it's going away.
*His umbilical cord stump still has not fallen off. (Is this normal??)
*He loves to be held all the time!
*He loves to be swaddled.
*He eats every 3 hours.
*He sleeps all night long!!!! Yay! Usually from 11:30pm through 7:00am. Praise the LORD!
*His favorite time of day is after he first wakes up and eats. He smiles a lot then!
*He seems to cry and have gas a lot. I don't know if it's because I breast feed him and he doesn't like what I eat? We are both trying to get used to this whole breast feeding thing. We are doing a lot better now than we were at first!
*He is starting to stay awake for longer periods of time.
*He is also starting to coo and try and "talk" to you. Too cute!
*He doesn't like his car seat unless the car is actually moving.
*He loves to be snuggled and loved on!
*He kind of likes getting a bath. He will cry the whole time until I go to wash his hair. When I start to wash his hair, he hushes instantly and loves every second of me rubbing his little head!

I loved this outfit on him and I knew last night would be his last time wearing it :(
He is already fussing with Trinity!
Trinity is doing so good with him! There has only been one time when she has shown that she was jealous of him. Titus started crying and Trinity said, "Mommy, don't pick him up." and I said, "Trinity, it's time for him to eat. He has to eat so he won't get sick. Do you want him to get sick?" and she said, "Yeah!"

Trinity is also my little helper! She does a very good good job.
The only problem we have had with her is that she always wants to love on Titus and she about smothers him by kissing and hugging him all the time! She is very sweet to him.

  1. Cradle Cap..Use Head & Shoulders Shampoo once or twice a week. Work it in his hair while using his brush. This will not hurt him. Don't use baby oil, it makes it worse. Both my kids had cradle cap very bad and the doctor told me to do this. It was cleared up in about 2-3 weeks. I was amazed!
Benjamin was 5 Weeks before his cord stump fell off.
You guys have two adorable little kids. Growing like crazy, they grow so fast!!!

  3. Head and shoulders will work! Just remember its not tear free and make sure it don't get in his eyes. As far as the oily hair, not much you do about it, but tell everyone to stop rubbing his head! It makes it worse!!!! Lol
